So said Manny Ramirez after ManRam stuck out against Madison on three pitches in Spring Training. And that was when Madison was only 19! The #1 Selection of the Giants (10th overall) in the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft, Madison is a stud. Making quick work of A and AA, Madison was called up to the big Giants to start for an injured Tim Lincecum on September 8, 2009. And although he pitched a no-decision, Madison's Major League debut definitely lived up to the hype. And in Game 4 of the 2010 World Series all "Madbum" did was throw eight shutout innings against the Rangers leading the Giants to a 3-1 Series lead. And, of course, the Giants went on to win that Series, bringing home San Francisco's first World Series Championship and the Giants first in 56 years. And in 2012, Madison and the Giants did it all over again stunning the baseball world by surviving 6 elimination games in the post-season and sweeping the favored Tigers in the Series. Bumgarner did his part pitching 7 scoreless innings against the Tigers in Game 2. 2014? How 'bout another WS Championship, this time with NLCS and WS MVP honors. Oh...and Madison opened and closed the Series on the mound, pitching relief in Game 7! 3 Championships in 5 years...not a bad start to a career. His potential seems almost limitless. This official 2014 World Series baseball is hand-signed by Madison. Then we went to work creating a great SGA Exclusive custom case with Giants logo and "3X WS CHAMP" in honor of his three World Series Championships. The case includes wood base, mirrored bottom, UV-protective glass and ball stand. A great collectible...and investment...in a fantastic young pitcher!
